tylersmith.io is owned and operated by Tyler Smith Consulting LLC ("we"). This explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: hello@tylersmith.io.
We collect only what you choose to give us — by subscribing or booking a call — plus privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics. We don't sell your information or run ad-tracking.
What we collect, and why
Newsletter (via Kit). When you subscribe, we collect your email, first name, and any interest tags you pick — used only to send the newsletter and tailor its topics. Managed by Kit; unsubscribe anytime from the link in every email.
Coaching bookings (via Calendly). When you book a free intro call, Calendly collects your name, email, and the answers you give in the booking form (about your situation, goals, and how you found us). If you add a phone number, you consent to SMS reminders for that appointment (reply STOP to opt out). We use this to schedule and prepare for the call — the free-text fields are yours to fill in as much or as little as you like.
Analytics (via Plausible). We use Plausible, a privacy-friendly, cookieless tool that collects no personal information and doesn't track you across sites. It gives us only aggregate figures — page views and where visitors came from, including UTM tags on our coaching links. Hosted in the EU.
Hosting (via Webflow). Our host, Webflow, automatically logs standard technical data (like IP address and browser type) to serve and secure the site.
Cookies and embedded content
Our site and Plausible set no cookies. But some pages embed third-party content — YouTube videos, the Kit signup form, and Calendly scheduling — which may set their own cookies and receive data (like your IP) under their own policies when it loads or you interact with it.
Sharing
We don't sell your information or share it for advertising. We share it only with the providers that run the site, each under their own privacy policy:
- Kit — newsletter — privacy policy

- Plausible — analytics — privacy policy
- Webflow — hosting — privacy policy
- YouTube / Google — embedded videos — privacy policy
We may also disclose information if required by law.
Your choices and rights
Unsubscribe from the newsletter anytime (link in any email), opt out of SMS by replying STOP, or email hello@tylersmith.io to access, correct, or delete what we hold.
Retention
We keep newsletter data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and booking data as long as needed to provide and record coaching — sooner if you ask.
Children
The site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date above.
