Difficult subject matter, handled with real craft. I found the performances excellent. I found the lighting, color grading, camera work, and editing all striking. I appreciated the humorous beats that cut the tension without undermining the weight of the story. And the demon in the woods gave the film a serious, meaningful message that stayed with me.
